Stay Cheap and Stay Hip: Blossoming Romduol Lodge

A touristy destination ≠ an expensive stay. Here’s your cheap stay guide in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Siem Reap, despite being known as a world-class tourist destination, still has something she hides that definitely attracts tourists. One can find a cheap accommodation, but not compromising the quality of stay!

In my recent backpacking trip with two college friends to this lively and lovely city of Khmers, we discovered an extremely cool hostel priced at an extremely low cost! Yup, extremely. We stayed for 3 nights in a standard triple room of Blossoming Romduol Lodge that has a spacious private bathroom with shower and heater. It also offers free use of bicycle and swimming pool and jacuzzi.

Their staff are all amazing and very welcoming. When I biked around the town on a hot afternoon, I went back to the hostel with a staff holding a tray of scented cold towels and offered me a bottled water. Simple but sweet gesture.

The breakfast shouldn’t be missed out. There’s a menu given where you can select your preferred meal, ranging from bread and eggs to fried rice options. They serve the complimentary breakfast at their restaurant.

Night stroll for dinner in Pub Street

Not to mention its proximity to the heart of nightlife in the city, Pub Street. It’s just 15-min. going to this bar and shopping haven.

All these for $10/pax for 3 nights.

So book them to stay cheap and stay hip!
